Beginning her musical journey on the cello\, then bass\, and eventually settling on guitar\, Ayla skyrocketed to online success when her YouTube cover of “Since I’ve Been Loving You” by Led Zeppelin blew up when she was 15 years old. Since then\, Ayla has performed for thousands of people around the world\, touring extensively with her previous band Calpurnia between the ages of 16 and 18 and more recently with her alternative R&B band Ludic with brothers Max & Rhett Cunningham. Ludic has opened for Grammy award-winning artists Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes) and Snarky Puppy\, among others\, and released their first full EP in 2022. DESCRIPTION:Doors 7:00pm Show 7:30pm\nJoin the Freudian Slips into their latest adventure into the world of improv and clothing removal for the ever saucy Strip n Sip! A tradition dating back the troupe’s roots\, the Slips take on the Strip n’ Sip form is not to be missed where our improvisers will engage in several interconnected scenes throughout the evening. The twist of course\, is the stripping and the sipping. A clock will be ticking down from THREE minutes – and within that timer they must take a drink in the context of the scene\, from our notorious shot table. If the slips forget or are unable to take a drink before the timer reaches zero\, the alarm will reset and improvisers will have to remove clothing in the context of the scene! This twist on a crowd favourite theme is sure to tickle and titilate!

Based in Vancouver\, this Freakout Orchestra boasts a powerhouse horn section\, violin\, and pedal steel making every show a circus. A staple of the Canadian live scene\, The History of Gunpowder is devoted to constantly pushing the envelope on stage and in the studio and has built a community around them that consists of some of the best musicians in Canada. The group has garnered an exciting international presence through their unique compositions and gritty vocals with fan bases worldwide who are entranced by their ambitious take of the musical arts\, which is always expanding and reaching new (and often chaotic) heights.and are preparing for their third European tour. The music of The History is couched in traditional blues and played with traditional but highly affected instruments. The band’s extensive use of loops and drones is contrasted by heavy\, swinging passages that carry long and winding melodies.
