SUMMARY:Layten Kramer and Brandon Wolfe Scott
DESCRIPTION:Minors Allowed Accompanied by an Adult \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1013803362147 \nDoors 7:00pm Show 7:30 \nBrandon Wolfe Scott is a singer-songwriter based in Vancouver\, Canada\, best known as the guitarist and co-songwriter in the JUNO Award-nominated indie rock group Yukon Blonde. The band released their sixth full-length album\, Shuggie\, on October 12\, 2023\, and concluded an East Coast Canadian tour in the same month. When not busy with the band\, Brandon is working on his solo endeavours. \nOn February 9\, 2024\, he’ll share his new solo single\, “Sun Shadows.” The song emerged last summer when he accompanied his partner on a work trip to Northern BC and returned to the small mill town of his childhood after nearly a decade. So many things had changed in his life since\, and he was interested to see the real elements of his nostalgic memories. Eager to share his roots with his partner\, the couple transformed the journey into a road trip and a quasi-songwriting retreat. \nHowever\, with their dog in tow\, lodging options were limited\, leading them to a worn-out motel frequented by a transient crowd. The envisioned tranquil space for creativity transformed into a stark reflection of daily struggles outside our window. “Witnessing poverty and addiction in northern BC left me disheartened and resentful toward the political climate perpetuating these issues\,” says Brandon. “Since then\, I have often asked myself\, how can I put kindness into the world?” A daunting task amidst the ongoing turmoil.” \nBrandon continues\, “Lyrically\, this song was inspired by the surroundings in which I originally recorded\, being in that rundown motel room close to where I grew up\, surrounded by people going through hardship\, but it also has much bigger connotations linking hardships to those being faced globally.” It served as a reminder for him to acknowledge his privilege\, being able to seclude himself in a room all day crafting music—an opportunity he should always appreciate and never overlook. \n“Sun Shadows” is the first new music from Brandon since he released his self-produced third EP\, Slow Transmission\, on March 23\, 2023\, via Dine Alone Records. The album featured five original songs\, including “Fade Out” and “In Stride.” The new music garnered support from various platforms such as SiriusXM’s “North Americana\,” CBC Radio 3\, Georgia Straight\, Afterdark on CBC Music\, Americana UK\, PhotogMusic\, Red Guitar Music\, Alan Cross’ “5 Songs You Must Hear\,” CBC Radio One\, CBC q\, Eat North\, CFMU’s “I Heart Hamilton\,” CoveFM’s “When We Wake\,” Exclaim\, and many more. \nHis 2020 Sophomore EP\, Burden On Your Shoulders (Dine Alone Records)\, gained him nationwide recognition and cemented him in the public eye as a talented songwriter\, engineer\, and producer. Notable collaborations include co-writing and producing with STACEY on her debut album\, Saturn Returns (2021). \nIn October 2014\, Layten Kramer released his first EP Through The Days\, after spending a long winter in the Pacific Northwest. The EP featured acclaimed song Sea of Glass that was put into rotation on CBC Radio 2. Shortly thereafter Kramer embarked on a tour across Western Canada where he and his bandmates cut their teeth on the road. Both his EP and the tour were well received garnering acclaim within the Canadian music sphere\, including the JUNO Awards\, Ride The Tempo\, and Digital Journal. \nIn April 2016\, Kramer released his first full-length LP collaborating with JUNO Award Winning Producer and dear friend Colin Stewart (Dan Mangan\, Yukon Blonde\, Sleepy Sun). Featured on the record were also the musical styling’s of Kathryn Calder of The New Pornographers and Geoff Hillhorst of The Deep Dark Woods. For the Sun\, embodies a change in direction taking Kramer’s recognized folk sound and adding experimental song structure and lush\, psychedelic soundscapes\, all the while maintaining intriguing lyrics and catchy\, clever hooks. This release was followed up by two very successful tours in the west and the signing to Oscar Street Records. \nKramer’s most recent release ‘Glory’ (2018) is a haunting collection of songs that explore the perspective of individuals\, both internally and externally\, when exposed to the reality of heartbreak and mental illness. “The time we spend learning and struggling with who we are and who the people are around us often amounts to a valuable lesson\,” says Kramer\, “and what we find at the end of each lesson is a little bit of glory. The collection of songs is intended to highlight the incredible resilience each and every person has in my life.” Paired with stunning instrumentation and clever arrangements\, Kramer’s recognized psychedelic-folk sound has transcended into a gritty acid-western aesthetic. \n‘Dear Apathy\,’ illustrates the genuine growth in Kramer’s unmistakable songwriting and arranging. Released April 16\, 2021\, the 9 songs explore the stark contrast of Kramer’s inner vision with the external perspective and pressures of their surroundings. \n  \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1013803362147

SUMMARY:The Prairie Joggers with The Bunchgrass Boys
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1034156147877 \nDoors 6:30 Show 7:00pm \nMinors allowed accompanied by an adult \n$15 advance $20 at the door plus fees and taxes \nBlending warm electric guitar\, raw vocals and dampened drums\, The Prairie Joggers form a thick vintage sound that cushions their bleak but not entirely hopeless lyrical themes. What the band lacks in bells and whistles they make up for with a sincere sense of nostalgia that agrees with their charismatic live performances and minimalistic approach to instrumentals. \nThe Bunchgrass Boys play upbeat traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. Anyone who likes clean acoustic instrumentation and vocal harmonies will enjoy listening to this band\, and singing along if you like. The songs of Bill Monroe\, the Stanley Brothers\, and Flatt and Scruggs and more modern “bluegrassers” are included in their performances. Our name reflects the wonderful area around Kamloops where we live\, and the abundant native bunchgrass that made Kamloops a true ranching town \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1034156147877

SUMMARY:Harry Bartlett
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1034649914747 \nHarry Bartlett \nHarry Bartlett is a Canadian guitarist and composer currently living in Nashville\, TN. With a background in jazz and an affinity for Americana music\, Harry’s compositions “transcend a single genre” (Textura). Blending an improvisational approach with old time\, folk\, and western influences\, his music is markedly personal.\nGrowing up in the Pacific Northwest\, Harry moved to Toronto in 2016 to study jazz guitar at the University of Toronto and relocated again to Nashville in 2023 to pursue his interest in folk and string band music.  While he performs regularly as a band leader and a sideperson across North America\, coastal BC continues to inspire much of his work.\nPerforming his own compositions with his band\, Harry has appeared in festivals and venues including The 5 Spot (Nashville)\, Jazz YYC (Calgary)\, Music Niagara (Niagara)\, The Rex Hotel (Toronto)\, The  Brookstreet Hotel (Ottawa)\, Resonance Café (Montreal)\, Tangent Cafe  (Vancouver)\, Herman’s Jazz Club (Victoria)\, and the Lighthouse Bistro (Nanaimo).\nIn 2021 the Harry Bartlett Trio recorded Wildwood\, which “blends Jazz\, Folk\, and Western music styles into an extraordinarily creative listening experience” (Midwest Book Review). The compositions were written and recorded over a 6 month period on Gambier Island BC. The rugged\, isolated character of the BC coast permeate this record lending qualities of reverence and peace. Wildwood was released November 18th  2022. Following the success of Wildwood\, Harry relocated to Nashville TN to pursue his interest in Appalachian folk music. Under the mentorship of esteemed composer and bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice\, Harry developed a repertoire of original works for guitar\, violin\, and double bass. With support from the Suba Institute\, Harry recorded his latest project\, “Mountain Air” with an all-star cast of Canadian folk-jazz musicians\, including Aline Homzy on violin and Andrew Downing on bass. Released May 31st 2024\, “Mountain Air” showcases Harry’s breadth as a composer and guitarist. In addition to an active performing career\, Harry has toured public schools across Canada leading improvisation workshops. He developed these workshops in 2019 with the aid of the FMUA. \nHarry holds a Bachelor of Music degree with honours from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music (2016-2020) and attended the School of Improvised Music in Brooklyn\, New York (2019). He is the recipient of multiple awards including the Suba Institute Award for Performance Excellence\, the Mary Alice Stuart Jazz Scholarship\, a Neo-Traditional award from The Appalachian Music String Band Festival in West Virginia\, and the TD Niagara Jazz Festival Jazz for the Ages Award. \n  \nEvan Snoey \nAn artist and creative at heart\, Evan Snoey has explored and dived into many mediums of music and art. His background in traditional styles combined with a contemporary music education allow him to not only thrive in jazz\, bluegrass\, old-time\, chamber and improvisatory music but to push and blend them together.

Evan has been playing music since he was five\, first learning the fiddle. He grew up playing dance music\, and has pursued many traditional styles since then. He sought out new instruments to learn\, and new music to play. He has studied old- time\, bluegrass\, Scandinavian\, Scottish\, swing & jazz\, and contemporary improvisational music.  In 2017\, Evan was selected to participate in the competitive Savannah Music Festival Acoustic Music Seminar\, which provided an opportunity to work intimately with masters like Mike Marshall\, Bryan Sutton\, Darell Scott\, Darol Anger\, Alex Hargreaves\, Jenny Scheinman and more. Evan has also shared the stage with the likes of Peter Rowan\, John Reischmann\, and Robert Glasper. At the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music\, he  studied under Matt Turner and Jose Encarnacion\, and got the opportunity to work alongside movement artist Mauriah Donegan Kraker. As a solo artist Evan has an EP of original music slated for release in Spring 2025. \n  \nEmilio \nEmilio is a Calgary born musician and composer. His love for music brought him to Vancouver in 2015. He completed his studies and was awarded his bachelor of music in Jazz Studies at Capilano University in 2020. In Calgary Emilio studied double bass with Rubim DeToledo\, Head of faculty of Grant Macewen Jazz Department\, and Classical bass with Sheila Garrett\, Assistant principle bass chair of the Calgary Philharmonic. Since then he has gone to study with Cody Hutchinson\, John Day\, and Vancouver’s own Darren Radtke\, Andre Lechance\, and Jodi Proznick. Emilio’s style is a dynamic range from jazz and bebop to contemporary\, classical\, and pop. He has been featured on many recordings that cross all these genres. His latest work is featured in recordings with Vancouver artists KAIS\, 45th Avenue Jazz Band\, Ilhan Saferali\, Noriko Jazz\, and EITHER EITHER. \n  \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1034649914747

DESCRIPTION:LATE HOURS \nWESTERN CANADA TOUR 2025 \nMUSIC BY KARL HIRZER & JOSUÉ VALDEPEÑAS \nFILMS BY BRADEN DERENIWSKI & VICKI VAN CHAU \nSPECIAL GUEST DANIELA CINEL \nDoors 6:30 Show 7:00pm \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1234318633259 \nProminent figures in the Canadian classical music scene\, Karl Hirzer and Josué Valdepeñas perform standard works from the modern and classical repertoire in addition to original songs\, mixing electronic and acoustic instruments. Drawing from a wide variety of influences\, their music has been described as “heady and psychedelic” and “Satie meets Radiohead”. \nBased on Hirzer and Valdepeñas’ track of the same name\, Crystal Clear is an innovative and gripping music and dance film. It follows a young woman who undertakes a visceral journey through her own psyche as she reflects on both her actions and the events that will decide her fate. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Braden Dereniwski\, it features captivating performances by Kelsie Vanstone and Ashley Mae Johnston\, with choreography by Yukichi Hattori. We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and Calgary Arts Development for this film. \nFeaturing and inspired by Hirzer’s track Daphne and Desmond\, off his recent album Relaxer Distractor\, In Tandem is a short film shot on Super 8 by awardwinning filmmaker Vicki Van Chau. It is a love letter to the meaningful spaces between two cities\, where Hirzer found sources of inspiration\, nostalgia and the feeling of home. Recently it received the ‘Best Experimental’ award at the 2024 Edmonton Short Film Festival. This film is supported by the Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society and the Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers. \nTraversing the multi-sensory landscape\, Canadian artist Daniela Cinel O’Fee creates immersive experiences to investigate the flux between acoustic and visual realms. With a Bachelor of Music degree from University of Victoria\, Daniela has worked as a pianist\, director\, composer and educator in British Columbia for over forty years. Informed by her sonic curiosity\, her practice extends the act of listening beyond traditional music making toward experimental intermedia using repurposed instrument parts\, obsolete media machines\, sculptural installation\, field recording\, performative soundwalks and graphic scores. \nRuntime: Approx. 130 minute performance including 1 intermission. \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1234318633259

SUMMARY:Miesha & the Spanks with Minx
DESCRIPTION:Miesha and The Spanks are back in Kamloops with local buds MINX! \nDoors 7:30pm // Music 8pm $20 Adv // $25 Door \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1254110441089 \nWhere have all the riot grrrls gone? You ask – Miesha & The Spanks answer. If you’ve got a yearning for flashy yet classic hard rock\, look no further – this Calgary-based duo has the guitar hero-worshipping\, face melting\, whisky belting sound that you’ve been seeking. A modern singer/guitarist and beloved fixture on the local scene\, frontwoman Miesha Louie is the integral driving force behind Miesha & The Spanks. A mixed-Secwépemc artist living in Treaty 7 Territory\, she’s devoted her entire career to inventing and playing instrumentally brilliant melodies that unleash her passions and her full-throated vocal tones. As a result\, Miesha & The Spanks have become a tighter and more muscular version of themselves with each new release. Miesha’s riffs are as quintessentially rock as they come. Her anarchic\, femme-powered vibes causing audiences to erupt in devil-horn-raising celebration of razor-sharp hooks delivered with fire and flare. Percussionist Sean Hamilton (an accomplished singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist in his own right) is her psychic counterpart\, intuitively punctuating her soulful choruses with a pounding intensity that simultaneously elevates heart rates and ceiling rafters. From their inception\, Miesha & The Spanks has chronicled their ascent through a post-punk modernist lens that speaks of a love affair with early-nineties underground and grunge bands. 2021 Nominees for Rock Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards\, the proudly DIY outfit packs a sound befitting a group from Portland or Seattle. With a resume that boasts performing as direct support to Queens Of The Stone Age\, Death From Above 1979\, Hot Snakes\, Propagandhi\, Pack AD\, White Lung\, Reignwolf and countless others\, Miesha & The Spanks can be seductive and stirring\, or gritty and urgent depending on what the situation calls for. Whether entertaining the heavier/doomier crowd or belting out epic rock heartbreakers\, their musical journeys remain firmly grounded in punchy riffs and catchy choruses. With all of this poetic leather-jacket wickedness in its prime\, comparisons are inevitable; Kim Gordon; PJ Harvey\, Joan Jett\, Melissa Auf der Maur\, Sleater-Kinney\, St. Vincent – you get the idea – it’s all expected\, but never taken for granted. Naturally gifted with a knack for relentlessly channeling the garage rock greats of yore\, Miesha & The Spanks prefer to be perfectly frank. They don’t shy away from the darkness. Armed with a black sense of humour and a serious howl. Nothing is beyond their grasp. Their next full album “Unconditional Love In Hi-Fi” will be released on Mint Records on April 14 this year. \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1254110441089 \n+++++++ \n“infectious production smashes down our self-doubts and urges us to dream as big as we want.” – EARMILK \n“a sizeable dosage of feel-good vibes peppered with a dash of teenage angst” – Wonderland Magazine \n“…blistering guitar work and motorik drum fills” – Northern Transmissions “Gritty\, grungy\, rock.” – Alan Cross

SUMMARY:The Secret Kacy Miller Tour
DESCRIPTION:Doors 6:30 Show 7:00pm Minors Allowed Accompanied by an Adult \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1304989210859 \nA triple headline bill with The Secret Beach\, Kacy Lee Anderson (of Kacy & Clayton\, The Waverly Pickers) and Shaela Miller. \n  \nThe Secret Kacy Miller Tour brings together The Secret Beach\, Kacy Lee Anderson (of Kacy & Clayton and The Waverly Pickers)\, and Shaela Miller — a triple-threat of songwriting brilliance and sonic mischief. Sometimes they’ll play solo\, sometimes they’ll jump in on each other’s sets\, and sometimes they’ll surprise even themselves. Expect harmonies\, heartbreakers\, foot-stompers\, and the kind of moments you only get when friends hit the road together. \nIt’s independent. It’s unpredictable. It’s a night you’ll be glad you didn’t stay home for. \nThe Secret Beach: \nThe Secret Beach is the new collaborative musical project fronted by songwriter/producer Micah Erenberg. Micah has collaborated with\, written\, produced and engineered for artists such as Kacy & Clayton\, Lee Ranaldo & Zoon\, Boy Golden\, The Waverley Pickers\, Fontine and Marlon Williams. He has worked with producer/engineers such as Rob Schnapf (Elliott Smith\, Dr. Dog)\, Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan\, The Band\, Rolling Stones\, Beach Boys) and Sam Plecker (Father John Misty\, Local Natives).\nThe project is an ever-shifting group of musicians orbiting around Micah’s songs\, with a new album out this August titled “We Were Born Here\, What’s Your Excuse?”. The album was crafted under the guidance of legendary producer Rob Fraboni and is teeming with home-grown warmth; its 16 tracks casually unfurl spools of intimate texture\, hushed melodies\, and a wholly inviting atmosphere that puts the listener virtually in the same room as these timeless numbers. The songs – many of them barely cracking the two-minute mark – fly effortlessly by. \nKacy Lee Anderson \nKacy Lee Anderson is an enchantress of song whose evocative voice—both haunting and comforting—has made her a beloved figure in contemporary folk and country music. Living in Canada’s darkest Dark-Sky preserve on her family cattle ranch in Saskatchewan\, Anderson has become a celestial wonder in her own right. She delivers spellbinding performances\, whether playing solo\, with her band The Waverley Pickers\, or as one half of the acclaimed Canadian duo Kacy & Clayton. \nHer most recent work\, Early Hits (2025)\, recorded with The Waverley Pickers\, showcases her songwriting with a masterful union of sonic nostalgia and modern sensibility—channeling the timeless storytelling tradition of artists like Sandy Denny\, Iris DeMent\, and Merle Haggard. \nShe has shared the stage with notable artists such as The Deep Dark Woods\, The Sadies\, The Secret Beach\, Richard Thompson\, and Wilco. Jeff Tweedy of Wilco\, a Grammy winner\, has also been a strong advocate for her career\, producing two of her albums. Over the past decade\, Anderson has toured extensively\, opening for Ray LaMontagne\, William Prince\, Colter Wall\, The Decemberists\, Bahamas\, and others. She has also performed at renowned festivals such as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and MerleFest and been nominated for multiple JUNO awards. \nShaela Miller \nShaela Miller’s years spent doing good country music work are safely etched into public consciousness. A turn at this point is by no means an undoing\, but a welcome lead into new territory. Miller’s fast-rising path is set to be amplified by a sonic reintroduction to one of Alberta’s best voices and most sincere stage personalities. \nOn the heels of a 1st Place Project WILD finish\, years of top-tier folk festival circuiting\, TV placements like HBO’s True Blood\, and many other accomplishments\, Shaela is set for much more in 2023. \nEarly dreams stay in the blood. Pulsating drum beats meet ring-spun synthesizers balanced by steel guitar professions as the listener is introduced to a captivating story. It’s one of a dual world – a binary of New Wave and Classic Country – the expression that reared a young songwriter years ago. For Shaela\, it’s a self-indulgent trip back to a world of music she’s been patiently waiting to explore. The listener should take comfort in feeling a little tense\, but this is no sleight of hand. It’s all from the deep well of emotion where Shaela lives as a songwriter. Where dreams go unspent\, the host can be left to wither. Take a small comfort knowing that Shaela is guiding her own career path as every artist should – with no fear of expectations. \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1304989210859

The four piece has shaped their sound around idiosyncratic songs while burrowing in realms of dreamy psych\, trippy folk\, motorik power pop and jazz influenced art rock. The band released their fourth record ‘Meadow 6’ via Earth Libraries and Divine Bovine Records in October 2024. Mother Sun toured Japan in support of the album in September and October 2024\, playing 14 shows in small venues around the country\, with Canadian tour dates to follow in spring 2025. The band has toured western Canada consistently since 2018\, appearing at numerous festivals such as Khatsalano (Vancouver)\, Big Winter Classic (Calgary) Between the Peaks (Rossland)\, and Treefort (Boise\, Idaho). The band has had several songs appear on Showtime TV series Shameless and shared stages with Dead Ghosts\, Vinyl Williams\, the Sadies\, the Breathing Effect and Ghostwoman. \nSam Tudor is both an individual and a project involving a group of friends in Canada. The underpinnings of the songs are genre-less; jazz players join forces with Eno inspired beats while acoustic guitars meet distorted synths. What unifies the project is Tudor’s distinct voice: a sandy\, melancholic narrator\, leaning in close with confessional and cathartic writing. The band’s live show is reverent and at times bombastic – a celebration of community done with an easy virtuosity born from years playing music together. The band’s latest release is their 2024 EP Hidden Minute. Their most recent full length album\, Two Half Words\, was released in 2021. Tudor and the band have toured in Canada\, Japan\, the United States and more. They have received coverage and acclaim from VICE Magazine\, KEXP Radio\, Exclaim Magazine\, CBC Afterdark\, The Vancouver Sun and others.

DESCRIPTION:Doors 7 Show 730 Minors Allowed Accompanied by an Adult \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1281856751049 \nIf World Music means the fusion of traditional\, contemporary\, jazz\,\nclassical and pop music\, then Bensusan is one of the most eloquent\nWorld Music musicians of our time. A pianist in his beginnings then self-\ntaught on the guitar\, the originality of his style makes him one of today’s\ngreatest guitarists and composers for the instrument. Also called “The\nPrince of DADGAD”\, the Rose d’Or of the Montreux Festival\, elected\nBest Guitarist of World Music by the readers of Guitar Player Magazine!\nHis triple album “Encore” won the Grand Prix of the Independent Music\nAwards in the category Best Live Album… Since his first performances in\n1974 in France\, the guitarist has sold half a million albums and given\nthousands of concerts around the globe\, both solo and through\nnumerous collaborations.\nPierre Bensusan is an adventurer of unusual lands. His almost “sacred”\nmusic is an intimate and orchestral hymn\, a solo crossing on a multi-shell\nLowden guitar subjected to the natural elements with sound molecules\nand finger pulp on an ebony fingerboard for open tuning – an unique and\ntransparent technique\, under the fingers of an adventurous pilgrim.\n“Listening to Pierre’s music is rejuvenating. Beside his extraordinary\ntouch and tone\, the notes and melody appeal directly to the tender side\nof our human nature”\nSteve Vai \n“This is beautiful… Pierre is one of the GREATS!!!”\nTommy Emmanuel Cgp.\nWith only his steel-string-acoustic guitar – and sometimes his rich\,\naffecting voice – Mr Bensusan can disassemble your heart and hand it\nback to you restored and renewed. As he did to mine tonight. A true\ngiant.”\nJames Volpe Rotondi (former senior editor at Guitar Player Magazine) \nTICKETS: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/1281856751049

SUMMARY:Marc McLaughlin with Jared Doherty
DESCRIPTION:Minors Allowed Accompanied by an Adult \nTICKETS: https://app.ticketowl.io/aCS6dbYjvdJ0dlx3/event/aLHwm9IdrQozb3y8 \nMarc McLaughlin is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from rural Newfoundland and Labrador\, now based in New Brunswick. Known for intricate melodies and introspective lyrics\, he blends indie pop and rock with a thoughtful approach. His 2023 EP\, I Don’t Want to Be Blue Anymore\, earned critical acclaim for its eloquent songwriting and quiet depth. His latest EP\, All I Can Say (February 2025)\, builds on his dreamy indie pop sound with aching sincerity. Marc has also shared the stage with and contributed to East Coast acts like Kelly McMichael\, Weary\, and Strongboy. \nJared Doherty is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Kamloops\, British Columbia. Adopting a psych-pop songwriting style that simultaneously takes cues from 60’s/70’s folk rock (The Byrds\, Joni Mitchell)\, more contemporary indie singer-songwriters (Mac DeMarco\, Alex G)\, and with a touch of noisy experimentalism (Neutral Milk Hotel)\, Jared strives to create lush psychedelic soundscapes that breathe around his melodic songs. Jared’s debut 7 track album ‘Small Window’ came out November 16\, 2018 on Kamloops-based Factotum Cassettes & Oddities. Lyrically\, the album deals with an exploration of perception; how viewing things through a small window can be equal parts rewarding and limiting\, melancholic and uplifting. \nTickets: https://app.ticketowl.io/aCS6dbYjvdJ0dlx3/event/aLHwm9IdrQozb3y8
