DESCRIPTION:Two of Vancouver’s most popular upcoming bands SPENDO & THE VIDOS team up for a diverse night of rock n roll  \nDOORS 7PM \nTOMMY CARSON 730 \nTHE VIDOS 830 \nSPENDO 945 \nSPENDO\nBased out of Vancouver BC\, Spendo is made up of five like-hearted\, experienced multi-instrumentalists. Sharing a love for modern & classic rock\, they exude a 1970’s California vibe\, drawing inspiration from and paying respect to the music of that timeless era. \nIn 2022\, Spendo ventured into “The Great Unknown”\, turning heads with their well-received single “Fighter\,” followed recently by their second single “Easy to Lie”\, both of which were recorded with legendary Canadian producer Danny Craig (Default\, One Bad Son) who also produced their second EP “The Great Unknown” released March 11th 2023. \nThe band’s powerful live performance has led them to many sold out hometown shows. They’ve also landed on some big stages\, rubbing elbows with Canadian Rock Royalty (PRISM\, 54-40\, and Daniel Wesley). They were also crowned “Best In Vancouver” 2022. They started making music together in high school\, cracking the Top 40 in Canadian Active Rock with their songs “Car Trouble” and “Perfect Stranger”. \nAlongside longtime producer Danny Craig\, The Vidos have arrived at a sound playfully described as “sludge pop” and look forward to releasing a collection of brand new material fitting that description in 2023. \nPrior to March 2020\, the boys had toured the country nine times in the span of 3 and a half years\, including a “hellish” 7-month stint living on their tour bus in Toronto in an effort to demolish their comfort zone and perform on a nightly basis.
