It’s that time of year again! Time for Kamloops Burlesque’s annual fundraiser show, this year we are giving you all the shivers with our BRRRLESQUE winter showcase!
Join us Saturday, Dec 21 at The Effie Arts Collective in raising funds for the Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre, a community agency that has been providing survivor centred services in Kamloops for over 40 years. KSACC provides counselling and 24/7 support services to survivors of sexualized violence of all ages and genders. This year the funds raised for KSACC will be going to KSACC’s new Sexual Assault Service Hub campaign, a new building downtown that will include access to medical, policing, and support services for survivors. Their campaign is focused on making necessary renovations to the building, improving accessibility and meeting government mandated specifications to offer these new services.
Our lineup of local talent includes, Ivy Nyx, The Cream Puffs, Coco-A-Gogo, Wilder DeFleurs, Dahlia Diving, The Laps of Luxury, Mona Moore, The Rainbow Puffs, and for their duet debut – Lila Honey and Sapphie Sprinkle!
